GGPoker Creates Council to Safeguard Poker Integrity
GGPoker sets the new goal of proving more integrity in games by launching the special counsel. Online poker may include suspicious actions, frauds, and bots’ involvement. But the GGPoker decided to provide more protection to the players by launching the Poker Integrity Council (PIC).
As soon as the suspicious action is noticed, it will be marked for inspection. Then the PIC members will take it for the investigation to identify the violation. The final decision is made by a vote of all members of the Council. The official statement of the GGPoker is saying that the main goal of this department is to provide conducting objective inspections and apply industry-wide sanctions.
Considering the punishments for the offenders, the player can be banned from the GGPoker events and regular gamers for some time. The strictest punishment will be the entry to the black list of the GGPoker portal. The Poker Integrity Council members
Most professional poker players will be involved in the member group of PIC. Among them are Andrew Lichtenberger, Seth Davies, Fedor Holz, and Nick Petrangelo. To provide neutrality, the expert member will not see the players’ nicknames. In other words, they will have no access to any information about the offenders, except the violation.
